Hey guys I am new to the 4-stroke side. I currently have a 2004 Viper700S. However, I am looking at getting an 08 or 09 Nytro. What are the things you really like about them and some things you would change?
thanks
thanks

Get the XTX so you have the speed, comfort and versatility. I bought the SE and love it but sometimes wish I had the longer track. Plus you have the back area for adding luggage with a turnout to the exhaust. The XTX is a few mph faster on the top end, so I hear. I haven't had a chance to race one yet. Oh, definitely get the tall windy and Rockmeisters Yamaheaters.

I have a 08 Nytro and love it. It's got so much low end grunt that pulls your arms off. The Nytro has a rock solid reputation for being built great. I have 5300 miles on mine and not one mechanical problem. The quaility is so much better then any of the sleds out there. I could go on and on, but you already know the deal about the Nytro. Your just looking for the con's to try and talk you out of buying one. Truth to the matter, only thing I would change is the hand warmers. It helped if you spray expanding foam into the handle bars. The foam acts as a insulator and holds some of the heat in.
Your just not gonna find a great mogul masher sled like the Nytro. I'd say go for it.....and take the plunge.

I second that. I also have an 08. 6000 miles on it and love it.
Love my XTX - before this I had an 02' Viper with lot's of Bender Racing mods. . . .corner to corner trail ripping I was much faster on my Vipe than the Nytro but my interestes have changed more to off-trail and the Nytro is just a tourqe monster - it's sick.
Allthough I don't think you'll find the Nytro being as fast as the Viper - you will definitely not be disappointed. Plus the rear skid in the XTX feels like light years ahead of the Viper's Pro Action chassis. . . .so your back will certainly thank you

I still have my 02 viper and an 09 SE. I tend to always ride the SE. Hands down the best sled I have purchased. It eats up everything you can throw at it. I ride moslty trails and they tend to get rough. The rider forward makes this sled phenominal to play on and the suspension is as Sticks stated MUCH MUCH better. Nothing pulls as hard as this sled. It is a true joy to ride and everytime you get off it you will be biting at the bit to get back on it!
Good luck

I came from the 02 Viper also. Loved that sled, it did corner better than my SE but, the ride, the fun factor and the engine!!!!!!! You can't go wrong with the Nytro! But again, you do have to work more for cornering.

I still have a Viper, it handles better than the Nytro but no way is it faster. Stock vs stock. I would buy the 2009 nytro vs the 2008 for the updated geometry.
I would certainly agree since for me it was a stock Nytro compared to a fairly heavily Bender modded Viper. . . .which allthough there was a bit of difference - it certainly wasn't much
