So I have to decide if I want to purchase the yes warranty extension. I have read some disturbing things on here about Yamaha trying to back out of covering things. Example somebody from Canada stated his EPS won't work until he puts about 50 miles on his machine. Yamaha blames it on corrosion. He stated that his sled is garage kept and hauled in an enclosed trailer? This site has been extremely helpful to me so. Your feedback is very much appreciated. I have not seen anybody state that their warranty was great and all the promises about rental costs and lodging fees paid off for them. I did get a quote from Port Yamaha thanks to your input. I bought the 4 year extension on my first Vector without hesitation. Why because I have been a technician for 40 years. I repaired vehicles including computer controlled engines and transmissions. Now I repair computer controlled equipment that they fix the vehicles with. So when I buy a machine that's drive by wire I figure the parts could get real expensive. I have never seen an automotive manufacturer turn down a warranty claim. Except when the customer drove 17,000 miles on the original oil and filter!

I was happy with it. They replaced the exhaust twice on my 09 Nytro with no problems at all. I picked up the YES warranty from port Yamaha. You will not find a better price then them or better people to work with!!

Thanks for your feedback. I plan on buying it through Port Yamaha.
