YOU WARRIOR GUYS ???

Hey Fuelie,
No way in heelll that the 121 will ride like a Warrior / Attack!
My 05 with RA won't come close to my buddys 04 Warrior in the real rough stuff! We switched a couple times & no way it will do the same job!
If it didn't push in the turns a little it would be the best sled I've ever rode!

Hey KnappAttack,
Where is Kip M from? I think I know him!
You should change your name to KNAPPATTAK!!!

I will never go back to a short track again. I love the ride on my 04 warrior with the 136 track. If a were to buy a new sled it would be the Apex Mountain, reason for this is that we tend to get more and more deep snow every year here in Greenland.

In fact I´m considering to extend my Warrior to 144 or 151 til next season to get more momentum in the deep stuff.

Same here. I won't give up my 136. I ride some tight trails and push, if any, is very manageable. The only time I ever see any is in loose, granular snow anyway. I'll be sticking with my warrior for quite some time.

.....mogal bump capability.....

Welt, do tell. I thought the consensus was that 136 was generaly better than 121 for moguls. Are you basing your comparison on a '05 shorty mono? And if so, won't that likely go away with the '06 Attak mono?

I hate the bottoming on my '03 shorty, and I purchsed the '06 Attak bottoming would pretty much be a thing of the past, without the need for later shock upgrades.

Ive have my warrior set up as good as it can be... when you hit major mougals the rear of the sled wants to fly up in air .... and crashes down..

I compared my sled to a ZR800 which totally cleared mougals that my sled bottomed out in...

Long tracks only ride better in slower / choppier conditions.. ... ONCE the trails gets beyond the normal bumpy trails you wish you didnt have a sled that weighted 700lbs full of gas..

Dont get me wrong... the warrior suspension works great on 95% of the trails.. its only when it gets really nasty that it cant handle all the weight its carying

I know what welter is saying. Once the bumps start getting massive the supsension just doesn't seem to work as well as when riding over smaller and medium sized bumps.
When I test drove the 05' RX-1 and Vector in Feb/04', I was amazed at how well those suspensions worked on Lake Minocqua, which was basically a mogul field that day. My warrior bottomed alot and kicked some too over the same stuff. You couldn't have paid me to take my old 03' viper on it. Well, I guess that could have depended.
So, I'm thinking (and hoping :D ) the 136" mono should be able to soak up the big bumps better than the 136" proaction while bridging small and medium bumps too.
We should have some reports to read tonight according to Mr. Sled.

After riding my warrior i would never go back to the short style ever again...i love the way it rides and handles...weight isnt a real issue, they are all heavy if you get them stuck, i like the looks of a long track and the hook up is better...

I'm gonna wait till they go with FI on the tripples then I will be getting a new sled.

We were running 80 plus on the Bill Nichol trail going to Houghton Mi. & there was 1 ft moguls easy & the Warrior did much better than my 05 mono!
I'm never going to have a 121 again if Yamaha keeps building sleds like the Attak!!!
