Anyone tried installing this on an xtx? It's listed for a viper and I got it but the instructions give measurements for what looks like a 153 or longer skid.

The Zbros will not work on the XTX it is for the MTX only there is not enough room to install it behind the rear shock.
I just installed the hygear system in mine and love it but it is not adjustable and you have to replace the rear skid shock. I am running 252 hp and now can launch it pulling the skis 12" and it stays there all the way to 100 mph. Before after 40 at wot the front would rise to 3' and drag the rear flap. The sled now rails on the trails. I only got it into a little bit of deep snow and it still brings the nose up in deeper but is way more manageable on the trails.

I looked and it says you can run it with the oem shocks I bought Axis shocks all the way around for mine.
The instructions suck but I figured it out took about 20 minutes with the skid in place.

That's not too bad
Yup I got about 100 miles on mine and I really like what it did to the sled. I am 80% fast trail 20% off but I don;t think I gave up that much on off trail it still sets down and raises the nose in deeper stuff.

Done and done. I don't want to experience the crazy ski lift the first time out boosted! Between the kit, Ulmer's clutches, and this suspension setup I should be really happy!
I know I am Happier. Im heading back to the UP in the morning to ride for 3 days and get good feel for it.

Any updates on the hygear coupling, anyone else that has installed it have any reviews? How do you think it affects on trail, how about off trail?

I now love my sled!!! It made the XTX into a formidable trail weapon. When Lake racing the sled lifts the skis 12" and takes off like a dart and does not climb any higher. On the trail when you come out of a turn which I can now get through it brings the front up but under control. I also put on the Axis coil over clicker front shocks.
The first video is a couple of launches on loose snow on a lake 1st one is at 9#'s of boost 2nd & 3rd are at 12#'s at 252 hp.

The 2nd is a 3 mile trail burn. I was not pushing it hard but you can see the sled rise out of each turn but never out of control. The trail was rougher than it looks from the camera but the sled is easily able to take the bumps and I hardly move around at all. The 8 guys behind me were on all kinds of sleds but 3 are 14 & 15 renedages and they complained all weekend how rough the trails were and ate an entire bottle of ibuprofin.

I put the hygear on too, with the extra reservoir for the float. It definitely works well, I don't even raise the skis 6".
