ZX-2 G-Force shocks maintenance and revalving

To my understanding this information has not been made available to all ZX-2 owners. Now it's time all TY'ers get the info I got by contacting Jean-Francois Couture (Jeff) and Denis Boivin at ADBoivin.

Here's the procedure Denis Boivin gave me:

Please find enclosed the G-Force manual.

At the end of manual there is explosed view of two different valving : DB-09 and DB-15

Your actual valving is DB-09. In order to increase the rebound, use the same rebound valving of the DB-15.

Look at items 8-9 and 10 from DB-09 and and change it for items 9 and 10 from DB-15.

How often are you guys rebuilding these shocks? Thinking of buy a ZX2

I am thinking about it after 2500 miles but just to slightly improve the performance in the stutter bumps not because it needs it.

Thanks Kinger. I am now a proud owner of ZX2 the one i bought has about the same mileage as yours so thats good to know.

What sled you putting it under? What color? Your going to love that thing.

I'm going to install it in my 03 RX1 Turbo, the sled is pretty much all black and the ZX2 is black. I just need to get the grey front end done in black and should look nice. I like that it comes with the 136 extensions so once my track is done i will stretch it out

Aw man that sled will rule! sometimes I wish I would have kept my RX and added boost vs getting into this apex used because at least I knew where I stood on the RX and I have a feeling the fuel controllers are going to be big $$$

Enjoy your sled and dont get the itch to get rid of it you'll be sorry!
