does anybody know if they zx 2 mounts in the tunnel or below the tunnel on a 2012 apex xtx. I have the zx2 out of my 2008 apex

That won't to sell me a new mounting kit for 350.00$
For two plates of aluminum. Do I need them or just use them from my 80 apex I'm worried about clearance on the new exhaust.

Not sure. What suspension is in the 2012? Is it the same as the 2008 sled. If you could get the stock mount points from the 2008 and compare them to the 2012, they may be the same. By measuring the plates from the 2008 and comparing them with where they will sit in the 2012 you should be able to get a good idea if they will work. I know ad boivin charges lots for there stuff because they are the only place to get it. I went through the same issue when I was installing my zx2 into my rx1. For future, I used bend-tech plate CAD and drew them up so I could create dxf files get some new ones laser cut if I ever needed them again.
The $350 may be for the whole mounting kit with the spacers and bolts. I had the bolts and spacers already and just bought the plates. I think they only cost around $130 which was a bit easier to take. You will have to ask for just the plates or they will give you a quote on the whole kit. I hope this helps.
