Just got done installing my ZX2 144 in my Apex - I have a brand new 144x1.75 backcountry track as well. My issues are as follows:
1. Ride height - it seems like this sled is sitting way to high - not sure how it will corner, I will get some pics tomorrow. The sled has an aftermarket CR Racing tunnel on it.
2. Track tension - the track is very tight - the rear axle is all the way forward - I cannot loosen it any and it seems like I would want more slack/sag.
3. Limter strap has no tension on it - is this normal?
4. It looks like this has tipped rails when it is sitting on the garage floor - the last foot+ of track is not touching the ground!!
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated - I want to get this figured out before the snow flies!!

I think all of these issues you're concerned about are normal traits with the ZX2.
Ride height will cause your sled to be a little more tippy in the corners, but you can adjust the settings with the revolver to help this, but I don't think you'll eliminate this, but you will become used to it and adapt your riding.
New tracks are always tight, as long as it's not binding while your riding and causing problems. It will loosen up quickly, both the track and suspension. The ZX2 suspension responds/performs best with a tighter track.
No worries about the limiter strap. It may also have to do with the tight track.
All pics and installs I've seen with the ZX2 seem to share the same trait with the track not touching at the rear, including my own. Yours might experience a little more due to your track length. Once you sit on the sled, it all compresses and the track will touch the ground.

Agree with all except tight track--too tight and it will act like rubber band actually limiting travel and cause rebound issues. Don't ask how I know.

Track is going to be tight.....too warm out!
The ZX2 skid will shrink when it gets cold and your track will have to be adjusted for the winter. If you read the manual it gives you the track adjustment at a certin temperature.
I usually get mine close and re-adjust it before the first ride.
The other issues are pretty much what most people had with the skid. Just ride it like you stole it and you will be surprised.
If you read some of the setups you will learn there is a difference when you lower your front end, and set the shocks and revolver to tweak the ride.

Cant really say because I still have the stock tunnel verse your ride height. But it does look good.

Mine is the same way with the last foot or so of the track being off the ground a little.
