ZX2 mounting brackets

What will the ZX2 mounting brackets look like? I have some holes in the tunnel from my Edge skid and I have running board traction brackets, these all come off and will a plate cover the side of the running board now? Is it steel or aluminum? Just planning my cosmetic mods

I think it mounts on the inside of the tunnel. At least thats what it looks like in all the pictures at the website.
