I am looking for a couple rear wheels for my ZX2. I am told by Boivin that these are a special order item only from them. Does anyone know where to purchase these besides Boivin?

wheels

Just got two for mine.Looked every were and it is a ad boivin ithem only. Size was done just for them for all the wheels on the skid.Ordered two small wheels from them to and they are on back order. :o|

Custom parts for the skid is smart on there part for sales. they can charge what ever they want and from what I have been hearing, thet do. It sure sucks for us skid owners though. They go out of business and we are screwd for parts. To bad there wasn't some billet wheels that were similar and could be touched up on a laithe to work. If and when I need wheels I will be looking at this route

The price is not bad 33.00 for the small wheels and 38 for the big ones.
Will I was talking to the tech he told me that the skid was still going to be available
next year and that they are going to be till farther notice.

i replaced mine with billet wheels . even made a bracket for the small wheel in the center so 135 mm fit there if i knew how to post pics id put some on so u can see them

i used absoute power and performance back wheels bought them off kijiji from saskatoon and i used 135 mm u bought from kijiji they came from royal distrubing . i made a block/bracket for the middle wheel .send me ur email address ill send u some pics . i put a different kind on my other sled .

FYI When you go to the AD Boivin site and look up their replacement parts they use a 200mm wheel and 6004 bearing.

If you looking to dress them up cheap then look for a set of 200mm rear wheels from a REV-XP they use the exact same bearing (6004) as the ZX2 and the exact same size wheel. You can get them in Yellow, Black, or White from the BRP site.

If you want to spend some greens, Tricked toys also makes 200mm billet wheels for the REV-XP that takes the same bearing as the ZX2.

You could also try a set of 8" billet wheels that use the 6004 bearing. A 200mm wheel is 7.87" or 8" is 203mm. Close enough if ya ask me.

Just make sure what ever wheel you buy accepts the 6004 bearing.

Did some more digging and the front wheels are 135mm and the same 6004 bearing and there are aftermarket (Ski Don't part's) 135mm wheels that use the 6004 bearing.

I think Add Bovin gave you false info just to make a sale. So glad I started digging cause these skids are awesome but very lacking in the style department.

I made a wheel block so that I can run 135 mm where the small center wheel is also put all billet wheels on looks awesome

Yeah the only wheel I could not find was the center one. It is 120mm but the same 6004 bearing.

If ya dont mind buying Ski-Dont wheels they look really nice and are $45 a pop with the bearing for the rear.

All the outside wheels use the same 6004 bearing so if you are just replacing bearings these are cheap at just about any shop. No need to wait weeks for any back ordered parts.
