I was able to put the new suspension through its first test and was very pleased. Mind you I am coming off of the 03 dinosaur, but just the same an RX1. 6 of us were fortunate enough to get permission to ride on one of the local golf courses here, granted the same rules as summer apply it was cart path only. We have between 2 and 3 ft of snow on the ground and no one had rode on the course. You can imagine what 6 idiots could do to a 4+ mile track in a day. By the end of the day this track was beat up pretty good, plenty of stutters and a few holy $%#$ bumps. coming off of back surgery I would have never ridden this track with the old suspension. Mind you on the scale I am about 255 naked with a beer in my hand (what can I say I like to weigh myself in the morning) and not once did my sled bottom out, I was actually a bit surprised at some of the things I hit with it and did not have it bottom. What I rode on today I will never find where I ride (NE Kingdom in VT) but it is nice to know if I do find it I can ride it. It might have been me but the sled also seemed to float better in the deep powder, and not once did it bury itself when I had to put it in reverse. All in all my back says it was the best thing I have bought for the sled yet.
