I have an 18 LTX SE and use the Klim gaunlets and run thin Klim gloves. 95% of the time i do not use any heat in the grips. I have been out in -25 F with the grips off most of the time. I do find that when the grips are on, there is a wide range of temperatures on the same setting.

Does anyone have any experience with the Exit shocks? I am trying to compare going with either the Fox QS3R's or the Exit. I have the Fox QS3R's on my LTX and are very happy with them, I just wanted something different to experience. Thoughts?

I know there were several people on this thread that mentioned they would give updates as the their findings with the Axis shocks. I only see one. If you could post your results or impressions, that would be great. It is going to be a very long summer waiting for snow.

Kevin at PortYamaha is the way to go. Believe it or not, my first sled RX1 was purchased from them and sent to me in NH on the back of the cheese truck. I have a picture somewhere. If I find it, I will post.

I would like to order the Axis shocks for my front end. Hygear is questioning the width of the front end and says if it is less that 42" wide, they do not have a shock for the four stroke sleds. I measured the mounting brackets off of the ground and the measurement was 17 3/4". I went to a...

I too would love some updates on these Axis shocks. I just picked up my sled from the shop and they installed the 141" track kit and two Axis shocks. I found some snow in NH and will be testing tomorrow and will report back. I wish the season was another month or two.

I just could not help myself and my addiction in spending money on my sleds. I ordered the Hygear rear suspension kit for my sled. Comes with two fully adjustable shocks, and a new linkage kit. I was going to wait until the fall, but hey, life is short. I will get out again once the install...

Diesel, how did the Hygear setup work for you.? I am about ready to order the four Axis shocks with the XTX trail kit from Hygear and i would love to know how their system works. I have an LTX with QS3"s and really like the ride. I want to get closed to that.
