I like the turbo noise and the look personally. Seems like lowering the temperature that much would be a huge bonus. My sled reads what I consider to be fairly hot with the stock air box. I seen 70* on a 35-40* day
You’re talking about being hotter with a cai under the hood right? I’ve seen that discussed many times. I don’t see how a intake out the hood could be hotter
I found that thread only looks like 1 trail guy using it. Also curious if the tune needs to be any different. I would think it would suck more air and a lot colder than an under hood cai
anyone run an external (through the hood) intake on their trail sled? I’ve seen a few mountain sleds with them. I personally like the look of them and the turbo sound I’ve seen on YouTube with them. After seeing a lot of guys calling the Underhood intakes hot air intakes I’m not sure I want one...
Awesome to hear. Thanks a lot for the review. I’ve been back and forth about a multimap and turbo force or intimidator exhaust or just getting a stock muffler tune. I don’t think the stock muffler sounds that bad and on a long day I don’t think I’d like having it any louder. 4 strokes that are...
anyone have the hurricane 270hp stock muffler tune? Wondering how reliable it could be since td’s stock muffler tunes are 250/255. Seems like a lot more power. I’d like a tune just don’t want any issues. Bought a 4 stroke to avoid motor issues after some major 2 stroke problems
I did my 500 mile service and I was surprised mine didn’t seem to stretch much. Went finger right then 1 1/4. Studded and tuned now so I’m sure I’ll be harder on it though lol
