    SideWinder New Motor

Zbroz makes a 45" wide front end Kit that will fit this chasis. I have used them before(Wide front ends) on Multiple sleds before (Apex, Venture, Crossfire 800) it is the best mod I have ever done - it turns any sled into an apex(not the sled I'm talking about the middle of a corner) carving...

    whats it capable of?

Dyno Jim is guessing that the Yammy Turbo is good for 275-300 on Pump gas vs the Suzuki maxing out at 250 on pump. According to Jim the higher RPM's and smaller cylinders of the Yammy mean less Deto and more capability for boost - it made 204 HP with 70f air at only 10 lbs of boost....

Are these the real dyno results?

I read the whole Dyno report. The motor was warmed up and the air was 70F, these are not corrected numbers. They tried to run it using there Chiller system but the sensor was too slow to compensate so it was running lean and not producing as much power (Lean does not equal more power on...

    2 Up Seat Question

How long does it take to put the 2 Up seat on and off? Do all 137 and 141 have the right rear bumper for the install? I would only get Vipers with Non-Float shocks. Thanks

    Viper Prices

So it looks like the states get's $2,000 off plus an extra years warranty - 3 years vs. two years in Canada. Given I would pay $500 for that extra third year I call that $2,500 less. Yamaha Canada - This is just not right, given that you can get a Ski-Doo MXZX 1200 for about $1,700 less as...

    VIPER LTX SE ?

The Cat coupled rear end works extremely well especially with the sliding front arm - It makes stutters disappear. If your a trail rider and like to go off road some times get the LTX - if your off trail more than 75% get the XTX

    Viper Prices

We have free trade - no tariff's or taxes involved. It will be interesting to see what Cat does with Prices. Last Year the 1100 Sno-Pro (Good Fox shocks all around) was $13,300 in Canada and I think there was $600-700 cat cash effectively putting it at $12,700 ish. I can't see Cat...

Canadian Vs. US Pricing - They've Done it again......

Does anyone know what the incentives are on U.S. Vipers?

Does the Motor Look likes it's mounted too high?

Looking at the side on picks it looks ike there is an inch or two of space under the Motor - Isn't one of the goals for good sled design to get the weight low? Me thinking there is no way they have been running this sled for a year - I'm guessing this was a last minute decision and this was...

Canadian Vs. US Pricing - They've Done it again......

What are the incentives in the States? This is really getting to me. My only conclusion can be is that Yammie Canada thinks we can't read. I really like CR - I think he is a very fine gentleman and can't believe he had anything to do with this decision - but this is just so wrong on so...

Canadian Vs. US Pricing - They've Done it again......

They've done it again - SRViper's are close to $2,000 cheaper in the states...... Sr Viper LTX Se $12,949 in the States $14,899 in Canada I was so excited when I saw the US pricing - with the Sleds now being built in the states there is almost no justification for a higher price in Canada...

    2014

I'll take the 137" SrViper LTX with the slide action rear suspension - I had a Cat 1100 Procross 128" Turbo and the chasis was fantastic - but I would be happy with some more length. When I sold it I kept saying if only Cat had Yammie Engines! I think the SRViper is going to be a hell of a...

    2014

They just remembered that built an Hydraulic sled back in the 70's so when they introduce there HST model on the 20th it won't be an Industry first anymore.... Although that really does sound like a partnership with Cat.

    2014

Jerkiness in an HST? Something must be wrong with the one's your driving. My only real experience is with Tractor's and lawn Maintenance equipment - but the HST in my Tractor (A John Deere 4520 - 60 HP about 157 lbs. of torque) is smooth as silk. When loading and doing fine work you...

    2014

In reading more this morning Hydrostatics look like they are up to 90% Efficient at higher RPM, other numbers I saw were 20-30% loss - Worst was 40% Let's see 180 at the crank at 90% Efficiency to the track - 162Hp at the track or only about Double existing drivetrain efficiency, worst case...
