Bought a ice ripper xt 1.25. Fresh snow coming can't wait to get it and put it on. Should I remove the tunnel protectors while under there and cooler protector as well. Been debating about it in my mind. Also what should I put in the chain case for fluid.

2003 rx1 replacing the track. Wad thinking of a ice ripper track anybody run one on groomed trails is mainly where I ride. What's the tallest lug I can run. Any other track suggestions welcome. Thank u

122 on the dreammeter. Hard pack road,had some more but running out of room.

Only can change inner idler wheel bearing in the rear. I just bought some after market ones from Yamaha dealer and u can change the bearing on the after market ones but not the OEM ones. Hope that help

Thanks for the advice. It was a steal. It had been sitting on a trailer for a couple years previous owner had bought a apex so he didnt ride it anymore and it was to much machine for his grandkids so he let it go cheap.

I just add startron and start it every few weeks and let it idle.cool it down with water hose. Plus it builds excitement for next year while your waiting for the snow.

It ended up being the bearing behind the secondary clutch. 150 yards to home and it blew apart. Limp it home will take bearing apart tomorrow. What's the number for this bearing sand can I change it with out taking chain case apart?

Also what size Allen key do I need for the bearing lock collar.

Does anybody know Napa part number for the jackshaft bearing near the speedometers sensor. I'm hearing some bearing noise coming from there and I'm miles from home but there's a Napa down the road from my motel road. It hasn't blown apart yet can I change this in the parking lot with out pulling...
