I have liked the Coldguard ones. You can velcro them on when you need them on cold days. They wrap around your hand more, stay open so you put your hands on the bars just like usual, no problem with signaling. They are canvas so they don't break from impacts.
I just did mine and I drilled out the rivets for the header bracket. Good thing I did because my header was cracked and I repaired that also. I had some of the old gasket material stuck on so it gave me some room to really clean up the surfaces before I put the copper ones on.
That's what it looks like I need to do. I can give the secondary more twist, going to be a while for testing though. Thanks for the help, starter saver still sitting here. I need to spend some time in the shop!
I don't think there are too many eyes in the MTX area this time of year. Any pointers to help with my over rev?

I need a little clutching advice. 2010 MTX SE had a Hauck manifold and Hauck clutching and gearing when I got it. I added Stealth muffler last year and I was on the rev limiter all year. 9400+ when pinned from a start at low elevations and 9200+ when held open from cruising in the midrange. Did...
Message nitris223. He sold me a belt guard and included a starter saver. I came across a post about guys losing starters because of a bad relay. It sounds like the key switch has no bearing on this problem which lights up the led. I could see that running down a battery
Saw your post on cr blog about the nytro solenoid. Do a search for starter saver, he might have a bad relay that keeps power to the starter. I just found out about this and a member sent me a starter saver that shows an led light if this happens.
We have ten years on our Kenmore with no problems. We usually leave the door and detergent drawer cracked open to prevent mold. We were worried about life span when we got them, hoping to get more years of them
Mine was a little tight after install too. I removed the top blocks and bushings and noticed the lower Mount was pushing the steering shaft a little high. With the upper parts removed I pulled down on the handle bars a little until it was resting exactly where it needs to be. Then I...
I have crossed with CanPass remote border crossing applied for online. It us used during off season when border offices were closed. This was into Ontario.

My Mtx is the same way. We figured it was what the dealer used at setup. Is your sled originally from Michigan? That's where previous owner bought mine. I am going to flush it and put something different in.
Doing searches you find out a lot of oems are using different colored coolants, and they are not all compatible. I have dexcool for gm and Green. Now it's all more complicated.
