reset check engine light
I started it up and it seems to run good in garage but check engine light is still flashing. Is there a way to reset the flashing code or will it do it by itself with time. Thanks guys in advance. I priced out a new sensor and they told me $195. I asked the partsman if...
Finally got great snow conditions here in Saskatchewan. Close to 2 feet fresh powder. I put on about 8 miles and the engine began to sputter and noticed check engine and a code 13. Thanks to this site I found that it means Cylinder 1 intake air pressure sensor open or short circuit detected...
I notice that on average cruising in the field at 60 km/h this thing revs just around 10 000 rpm and when I nail it it gets up around 11800. Isn't that a bit much. (08 mtx) Top speed is 114 km/h on hard pack. Should I be upping the flyweights in this thing or where is the optimal rpm? I think...
I have an 08 mtx and find the reverse to be a joke in this thing. I see some people recommend rocking the machine. some pick up the rear of the sled. Is there a fix to this problem other than fighting with it. Is it pressure on the chain due to tight belt deflection or is there a spring issue...
slide kick ice scratchers are an option and you don't have to worry about them gettin wrecked when backing up. $70 pair. Picked up a set for my 08 this year but haven't tried them yet but look like a real good product. :brrr:
You live in the land of torco accelerator. Only us Canadians have to dig deep to find it. They won't ship across the border but it sure is nice to know rec supply carries it now. I will try and purchase a 5 gal container if they got. From looking at torco's website it is much cheaper than buying...
Well that doesn't sound too bad for handling I guess I'll wait till it snows and see how things go. I have never had to much luck with single rods on the ski's with polaris but with double rods they were excellent. Does anyone know of a dual ski rod set up for this style of ski ?
I just bought a slightly used 08 MTX and was wondering how the sled will handle trail riding this winter . It will have new rods installed with 6" of carbide. I want my wife to ride something that doesn't dart around too much. I s there a dual runner setup for these available. Thank you!
