I have an 05 RX1-ER and I took apart my chain case to replace the cog shaft. Put everything back (I thought) and found this part? It's 1" ID and 1.25" OD and about 0.638 inches long. Looks like a collar. Has no seal on it.

I've been running pol wheels for 3 years, they are larger than the yam wheels. Bought them from Dennis Kirk for about $20 eac with replaceable bearings, problem went away.......

Has anyone ever put these on without a press?

Go to Dennis Kirk and buy 0430 Idler wheels, they are 5 1/4" with replaceable bearings, $22.95 ea. I bought mine 4 years ago, same wheels for $20.95 and have the same hyfax, 5000K miles and still work great. I replaced all six. I do repack the bearings each year. They use the same Yamaha mount.
