i've downloaded the manual and looked at it a couple times, but does anyone have a link with pictures on a step by step procedure, there's a lot of little pieces in there and i really don't wanna screw this up, haha, thanks

The main thing about doing a track swap is that (especially the first time), you take your time and look at how it comes apart. It can also help if you keep your parts lined up the way they came off and even make NOTES and take pictures if you are really worried.

It is actually not a very difficult procedure.

thanks guys, half way done, just gotta figure how the shaft pulls out then i'm on my way, done track swaps but as i've come to see, yamaha has a lot of springs, washers and extra gears in the reverse chain case, the ones that i'm used to have two gears and a chain and thats it. The wheelies, hmm, straps all the way out, absolutely perfect snow, hard base with thick crust on top, the transfer rod is set for max transfer. I'm now realizing the toll of the weight though, all those wheelies can bend/wear our parts super quick.

Quick note, make sure the chaincase and speedo side cover are on and tight before tightening the small torx screws on the speedo side bearing.

sorry, no pics due to no camera, brother has it on one of his rides, and it's being replaced with a used ripsaw, fully clipped for the rest of the season, might up grade to a cobra next winter
