Buy a 100 watt oil pan heating pad from Canadian Tire and glue it with the silicone supplied to the oil tank. Plug it in an hour before your ride and you're good to go.

I like the thought of a turbocharger but i don't want to be riding and have to look at the boost and A/F gauges every second. I don't understand why they are required when A/C and Poo factory installs don't require it.
If you look at yamaha's motor history in other power sports such as boating and waverunner's they have never put out a turbo. However they do build a supercharger for the 4 cylinder jet boats.

Does anybody know what the electric device on the fuel injection rail does? It's located 90 degrees right angle next to the TPS. It is pictured but not identified on the fisch. It makes a sound when the key is turned on and also when turned off.
