So no one has maped a mcx box just using a computer. It can be done, its just a matter of finding the software and the usb/mcx plug. Has anyone had and experience doing this? Id love to be able to adjust my maps with out sending it out or buying the mcx display.
You yankies dont ride like us. Your trail riding consist of getting the sled off the trailer and down to the lake OR a loop that you can make a round trip of on race fuel or meth.
Just Buggin lol
geting you back for the mounties stab.
is t going pop pop or more of a thud thud noise. Pop pop is rev limiter. lol And BTW the apex rpm gauge dosint keep up with the true rpm as it increases . ITs alittle delayed.
haha 505hp out of a stock head and motor, thats one of those speculated hp estimates again. Besides you are warping the whole topic so you can come out on top by bringing these lab test dynos on rocket fuel that costs 5$ a L.
We are talking about pump gas, how many times do I need to tell you...
I have to agree with Machzrobbie powderlite is not the same as the mcx kit. Thats why they only pulled a 271 hp@ 14 Psi. aja636 that apex was low on hp,
A mcx apex makes 290hp @14 BEFORE tuning. Dyno is on the mcx site.
With it tuned it makes this @ 15 psi. ON PUMP

As you are increasing the the boost the spark is being blown out. I had blow out at .20 and was in disbelief when I regaped to .18 and it stoped missing. Make sure its really .18 too, when you gap you should feel alittle restriction when passing the gapping tool threw. Ither way its a spark...
Thank for the help to prove my point about the engine be a restrictive 2 cyl. And not being able to produce the HP a apex can with pump gas. All the facts are there now and we can see that it does intact produce less HP than a Turbo apex. So you lost a race to one z1, that dosing make them...
15psi@335 pump no Meth! Apex or 22psi @438hp on Meth or race.
30psi@350 pump meth cat
It takes half the boost with no Meth to make thesame power. I think it explains it self here. What do you think? I mean am I missing something here??
Ok Ok, enjoy your cat. ;)! it still sounds like a snowblower and the key for it looks like a snowblower key too. Im not backing down on this one untill you can come up with hard evidence. Till then im out. See ya :rocks:
We have no idea what gas those sleds were running . But on that topic

Not the KING or turbos but pretty dam close! I never said that the cats are slow, I just had to push it that far because I know im right. The cat turbo will...

Proof is also on the trail also. That sled is not running 380-420. Your calculation is incorrect because you are not taking into consideration how unefficent the head design is and only 2 cyl and how your turbo is not flowing properly at that high of boost. Here is a apex on 91 with no meth...
