Errol, No instructions where provided, but It was pretty simple. I had a problem getting the muffler in but with alittle manhandling and a dremel it went in. The seat feels pretty snug on there but I dont have any time on it yet. The weight savings are pretty accurate I guess. The seat is super...
The package was about $1g. I should be getting the s/c in this week so I dont think I will get to compare it properly to the stock exhaust. ya baby. Just need more snow and the fuel management.
I am not going to run a tail light. I was holding off on mounting the jack until I got the seat on due to the stock exhaust shields. Todays project finish the buttons on the seat and mount the jack.
For those on the fence about performance lite seat and exhaust. It took me about two hours to install the pair. The seat is very nice and the exhaust has a great sound. Louder than stock but quieter than my bender rx-1, perfect sound I think.

Short vid of my buddy on my old trx-1 and me on the apex. Look how slow the apex climbs. Pay close attention to the left side of the handlebars when I take off and that should answer your questions about why the sled is so slow.
Sold the trx-1 and bought a apex today. Called MPI and they told me if I got on the list I would probably see the kit mid december. What about powderlites and cpr? Is everybody waiting on fuel managment?
I think what you do is put a small quick spool turbo first and a large high boost second to eliminate the lag. Sounds like some never ending tuning and engineering.
Looks good. How are you putting them on with enough overlap onto the carbs for a good seal? I assume you are using yamabond or superglue. After looking at the pics again. Did you pull the carbs apart and put them back together with the T installed?
Its at the rubber splices on the left side of the gas tank. The feed and return lines run underneith the tank shroud. One of my lines has regular hose clamps and the other has hose clamps that arent the screw type. It should be in your feed line.
I dont know about trails. But I have holz rear suspesion on my '03. It lost 34 lbs and rides great, transfers weight a hell of alot better than the stock skid. You use the stock rails and just replace all of the suspension components.
Hey shaun, There is a 2 and a half gallon can that fits into a bag and the bag mounts to the tunnel somehow. I saw it on a turbo sled. pretty slick setup. I need to find out who makes it so I can get one and I will let you know.
