Re: NY Trails in NY don't open until december after hunting season. You can ride the hill before then but you have to stick to seasonal roads only which makes for very little riding area. Tug hill isn't worth the drive until the groomers start rolling and get a base down.

I can't believe everyone who is comparing a potential yamaha two stroke to ski doo in terms of quality. A ski doo engine historicaly needed two rebuilds before a yamaha needed rings, and that was before direct injection.

If you like your head to be toasty, an mx helmet is not for you. It will keep you cool without being cold or frost-bitten if you do it right. I've been using an mx helmet exclusively for 6 seasons now and have yet to get even minor frost bite. The only problem is when temps are below -20. Riding...
