I'm 260 lbs before gear. Got the big boy spring. 1st ring clip, 3rd detent on the preload adjuster gives me the 40 mm sag. I still bottom sometimes, but my understanding is you should bottom out sometimes.
I'm 6'6" and riding an 06 Attak. I'm thinking I'd like a 4" rise, but it looks like I need to get an adapter for the Attak with the Rox pivot assembly, and am I not able to use their adjustable height kit? Any suggestions would be appreciated ;)!
I'm having the same problem. Sag and preload are set right. Compression seems fine, but rebound damping needs to be slower yet. I'm set at the stiffest setting on the dial, but I get the pogo stick rebound on bumps.
Thanks! I've been moving it further and further to max, and been frustrated with the turning. Just moved it back to half/min. and I'm MUCH happier. I'm also 260 dressed, so the big boy spring it is. Thanks again!
I just came back from my first real ride on my Attak. If you're trying to get more weight on the skis don't you want to go with more weight transfer rather than less? I'm a novice on the sleds so forgive me if this is a stupid question. :ORC
No enclosed trailer here. I figured I'd be buying a cover either way. I tow the Viper on a triton two place with the fold down salt shield ramps. I guess my question was more along the lines of if I "needed" an extended warranty for the Attak. It would cost more to buy than the cover...
I'm picking up an Attak, and the dealer is offering to throw in a deluxe cover or extend the warranty to 2 years instead of 1. Is there anything breaking that I should be prepared for? The warranty would cost more than the cover, but I normally wouldn't buy an extended warranty.
What...
Exactly what I wanted to hear :) Thanks! I put over 160 miles on the Viper Friday, and think I could benefit from the taller seat as well. With my knees that high in the air my tail bone takes most of the abuse. :moon:
