I bought the 66 gram weights and 31/35 helix. I will get heavier weights if I decide to tune.
I am absolutely impressed by the service of Dalton. I ordered these parts Thurs at noon and received them Friday at 3:00 pm. He shipped these all the way from eastern Canada to Edmonton area...
Just bought some daltom weights today and 33/35 helix. I will play around with these weights and spring (green for now) for the best combination of engagement and still trailable. I still feel we need to get this engagement up to get closer to the power band for take off. hopefully around the...
personaly I feel it needs more engagement. If the turbo doesn't add boost until after 6500, then woudnt it be advantageoius to raise the engagement for more power in the lower RPM range. I typically engage all my sleds at 5000RPM. with no issues.
anyone have a set up to raise engagement 4000 rpm or more. I have ys60 supertip weights and they engage slightly lower than the stock clutching...around 2800 rpm as per Ulmers set up with stock spring. These weights do work well.
I have purchased a Dalton primary spring (black green 62/131)...
It wont work well.....
The only thing you can likely do alone would be the secondary spring. It will help with sec coil bind and give more rpms down low.
If you change the primary spring to something that is not close in rate to stock, then your rpms wont be right. And also this has alot to do...
I am looking flash my ECU and maintain the stock exhaust. A few companies have flashes available.
Hurricane is advertising 225 hp... but I am not sure where their baseline is for this flash.
TD says their flash works well, but have not dyno'd it (to my knowledge).
Ulmer has a flash (possible...
anyone try a spring such as a Hauck orange in the primary or a Yamaha GWG and stock weights? Hauck is 55 preload...same as stock spring but higher overall force @ 136.
just thinking most stock set ups are running low rpms, this should raise it...hopefully not too much?
ok, I used spray 9 today that got rid of most of the exhaust but still not as white as a new decal. looks ok but not new. I will try to get a new decal from the dealer and try to protect this from happening again.
It is unfortunate the placement o this white decal, but I remember cleaning the...
my LTX SE decals on the exhaust side are in poor shape due to staining from the exhaust gases. I regularly clean them but now are permanently stained.
I will replace them this summer and I am wondering if tear offs are a good idea to put over these decals?
Anyone have experience with this?
on some of my other sleds, I used a straight edge against the track and aligned 1 ski to the track. I then measured from the handle bar tips to the back of corners of the tunnel, using this as a reference point. I then adjusted the skis so it was aligned.
mine has the steering slightly off...throttle side slightly towards my body (brake side high). I checked my ski alignment and it is perfect, so I have not corrected the steering misalignment yet.
Got my sidewinder jacket yesterday. The jacket came as a small, but I require a large - xl. The dealer said they had no input to the sizing and they show up as is. Anyone else had this issue?
Looks like a new present for my wife.
