yeah, what i meant by the gist of my post was, the sled they "unveiled" on the 2nd, should have been the sled we got two or three years ago, not now, when its called something new and innovative and costs a #*$&@ pot more. All im sayin. i agree, our motors are badass. yep, blow our doors...

Didnt even see you re-posted on here freak. Had been busy all summer/fall, new baby girl and Late Model racing made me ignore the sled.....Took it to the dealer the week of New Years, they tore apart, had ringlands lifted on 3 pistons....yamaha didnt warranty it, ended up owing the dealer $400...

I agree with Rocker..it seems on different days, i have differnt speeds-weather and surface condition is everything. Id say, to gain some top end charge, get rid of the Rip Junk for a 1inch Hacksaw or Predator

yeah-the only thing that sucks is theres not much if any factory support for the RB3. I don't speak Italian!! LOL

the more I think about it, the more I get frustrated. A solution to Rapid Bike's compatibility problem might be to go buy another computer? That's rediculous.. Add that into the price of the RB3, its hard to choosed DimSport.

you can go up or down 100 on each cyl.

you can go into the just off idle fuel map of the sled, referred to as the "CO's" and richen your mixture that shld take care of the bog. Its a process you do by grounding a wire in the main harness connector (grey in color) above the clutch cover. Then you raise the CO's thru your instrument...

I liked 23/38 combo in my Apex, except the chain really had to loop around because of the extra slack created by the smaller top gear. I went 40 on the bottom, and put the 24 back on top to correct this. Only thing is, the lower gear for Reverse is around $80 compared to $25 for the top...

I know the Pred outhooks the 1" Hack and the 1.25" Rip on firm trail snow. time after time, my sled outhooked buddies sleds.

can't believe some guys obsess over 3mph. I have the Predator, and have abt 3500 mi on it. The lugs last a long time becuz of the compound, but unlike the Hack, which will flex, the Pred's lugs tear off.......horse a piece as far as wear goes.
