I am running a PC3 with ignition module on my MCXpress Nytro. It is really nice to be able to adjust the fuel curve, add timing on the bottom end with a headshim installed and retard ignition at high boost. You can also make the sled idle alot better with a headshim installed as well. Leave...
Absolutely, if you are going PL you would be better off getting the RB3. The only thing is Dave has the RB3 set up so it will turn on a 1.5lbs of boost. You would have to modify the way the RB3 reads the TPS or Cranksensor, cant remember which one. At idle the sensor puts out 1.6V and the...
I would go with a PC3 from Ulmar on a N/A sled. He has maps for it and there are some gains to be had. Not a huge amount unless doing K/N filters and excell exhaust.
I am just adjusting the stock map and letting the MCX do the rest when in boost. Removed 10% at idle and 25% from 2000 - 3000. on my sled. Will be trying the PC3 with all the goodies on another sled with a homebuilt turbo system through Christmas. The PC3 will be sensing the boost and we will...
I have been playing with a PC3 with timing control on my MCX Nytro. Seem to be working out pretty good right now. Need more time/snow to play with it. You can get the PC3 boost referenced as well as a LCD screen that will Datalog. I will have more info after Christmas.
Would I buy another one, absolutely. I really like it. From what I can tell there is no more ski pressure than stock. It is also 30 lbs lighter than stock including the drop brackets.
I will get a picture for you.
I went with ez ryde 162 and it does not jack up the back end of the sled on the Nytro. The ride is really nice and it keeps the front end off the snow about 6 inches when climbing. Really absorbs the bumps. I was running 14 psi of boost. I can send a picture to you if you want.
I though I was the only one that was having problems with the fit of the tank and the panels not fitting correctly. It just does not fit right. That was in August. I sold the tank and Seth gave me the difference I was out. You are having the same problems I was having. I could not...
I tried it all. Did not like it. The Ford, Dodge, chevy is exactly right, I tried it all year and did not like it. I am not the only one who didn't like it.
I was running 17 psi though.
The K-mod has alot of adjustment aswell. It has 8 different positions to put the transfer blocks and they can be changed in a matter of minutes. The timber sled you have to take it apart to put more of less transfer.
Have heard good about K-mod. I personally would go K-mod. Only have seen...
Stock extension peice cut up and tipped up.
Working on an extension and different outer running board extrusions that can be added to the stock tunnel. Time will tell. Having a hard time finding outer extrusions with that the coolant can flow through. They dont have to have the coolant...
The extension peice is rivited on just like the stock one was. The rear of the main tunnel is cut and bent up a little. In added some 1 inch aluminum angle on the inside of the tunnel extension that runs down and attaches to the main tunnel.
Yes the rezzeys point forward. They are from...
But if you want something that you can actually use you stock stuff, like using the stock skid plate, which you should be using to cover your oil filter and oil pan, then here is something that is going to work and stiffen up the weak 08 subframe. Why do you think Yamaha stiffend the 09, not...
