revolving sounds like a plan. Not really sure about this stuff can you fill me in more. both rear shocks? and what exactly do you have them revolved to?
Just drive it. They are bullet proof. Change oil once a year, grease it every 500 km. Blow your clutches out with compressed air after every 100 miles. Once a year take it to a dealer and let them do a once over.
I am sure that Ad was changed after they know about the rod failure. I am pretty confident that Yamaha and the dealer will stand behind it. I wouldn't be worried about it
Yes, I just installed the trail kit. Then started reading all kinds of negative stuff on here. I put 200 miles on Sunday and it rocked. I have some clutching issues but once the lake is frozen, I will sort that out in a few hours.
The helix and secondary spring are the same. Just wondering if anyone knows the base weight of the cam arms. The ones I have are 50 grams. Wondering what the turbo base weight is that comes with the turbo clutch kit is?
I have the Ulmer Clutch kit. I emailed him and he gave me the current weight set up. The clutch was machined and set up by Ulmer for my Viper when it had the can, tuner and intake. I have emailed him again, but was hoping to get feed back from guys that have the set up.
What top speed are you...
Took my first ride with my Turbo MPI trail kit. Did 216 miles and things worked great.
I have super tip clutch kit. I added 11 grams in the heel, two grams mid and 4 grams at the tip. Using stock spring in primary. The secondary is set at 3/3. The original clutch kit came from Ulmer racing...
I have a new MBRP trail can, tuner and Ulmer intake for sale. I have installed a turbo. The can is new as it was replaced under warranty. I am close by as well.
Yes I was going to finish out this year n/a but with the lack of snow I got itchy. Lol. So two more years with this one. I am really hoping Yamaha comes out with something new. I will give the new model a year and buy one the second year.
My buddy owns a Yamaha dealership. I installed the kit with his help so I have a good idea how things work. This site rocks. When we finished the install I read about the bad batch of boost controllers on here. I told him about it and he looked puzzled. He call his Yamaha rep and he confirmed...
They call it the 190 but no cooler so I assume it's 180. Which is lots for the trails I ride. I run about 5000 miles a year. I now have 10,000 miles on the sled already. I love this sled it's the best I have ever owned and I have had several new sleds over the past 5 years. I bought a Polaris...
just installed the kit on my 2014 Viper after 3 years of thinking about it. How safe is this kit? Seems a few guys have had melt downs. Did they screw with the set up or are the just not a good reliable system. Second guessing myself with all the negative chat on here.
