I hear yah on the cracking, I've had to fix mine too. What setup are you running ie. boost, headshim vs stock, fuel? What do you see for afr at idle, wot, cruising etc? What are you running as far as mapping?

@phazerboost Do you wrap your header/pipe? If so, how does it hold up? If not, how is the undertank heat? Do you have the front tunnel hole closed?

Are you guys riding 07s? I have 2008 mtx and have never noticed any "engine resonance"? Have you checked the engine mounts, flex pipes etc?

Just get used to your sled puking oil. It happens on all the yammys regardless of NA or boosted. It's really to bad yamaha couldn't have bothered to pay more attention to small details like this. I ride with a small bottle of oil in my pack. :o|
