what are riders thinking of the Venture? Any pros/cons of these sleds, years and stuff about the delta box frame upgrades over the years....... issues or years to avoid possibly?. I am thinking of getting a 2010 venture Gt, i have been looking around a bit as i need something to get the wife...
I am wanting a 2up Venture sled for the wife and me. I think.... i am looking for an 07 - 12 year snowmobile. I had the 05 vector to which i had an issue with major darting and not overly happy with it. Any advice or opinions on what to be looking for or to stay away from? Non eps sleds vs...
Ok.. so I shimmed the front skis. Yes, darting was tamed down by doing this, but it still holds similar difficulty in turning and fatigue is there. Burned me out. Need some basic help in further setup
hey no problem. The further back I read and research, I see that everyone is/was a newbie to the darting thing(lots of issues). And Yamaha has been engineering crap skis on 15-22k sleds for some time now. I appreciate everyones input and assistance on this one. Lots of guys have tried a...
that was a very good post there. I actually did not know know where my chaincase drain plug was; I could of used this post a few weeks back for the engine oil. Thanks!
ya the Polaris app is good, but they fall behind on updates (American focused). I contacted them a couple times concerning updates to Ontario. The offline maps are awesome! Very accurate as to the ofsc app.......or at least 2 years ago. To bad ofsc would not create an offline map to. Who...
yes, apparently i see that. Thats where i need you experienced guys to help. I came from the old school sleds to this....... apparently this is a big curve for me at the moment on setup.
yes i know, but experience from people is better than me buying and trying 5 different methods to try and rectify a 14k sled that should never of had an issue to begin with. Yes i know i dragged this on, and with the commments it sounds like i now know the direction to take which is...
has anyone noticed significant drag with the dualies, snowtrackers, Bergstrom Triple points etc which has been tried to correct darting? Aftermarket skis vs stock Yamaha ones? Any real difference noticed?
So you prefer no studs; why? Was it still squirrely without the studs as well?. I just put 1/4inch shim on this afternoon, I tried to upload pics but the site said they were to large of size. I am trying to figure this machine out; I just never had one handle so wild on a trail before.
ok thanks. I went from a indy 500 which had no studs/carbides and was easy to ride to this vector which seems like hell.... I was burned out after 20miles and darting all over the place. Pretty disgusted at this sled at the moment. I always thought carbides and going dual possibly was for...
i just picked up a 2005 rs vector. I took it out the first time on the weekend, and wow...... this thing is Terrible! Serious darting. I have 96 studs in the track and single carbide i think 6" on stock skis. I have read a couple things; but i would like to know how people have corrected...
