    vector mountain tippy on turns

In marginal snow or hard packed groomed trails you will have hifax problems with the 2 inch paddle. I do. I know nothing about cutting paddles down, sound like alot of work!

    vector mountain tippy on turns

Tighting up your limiter strap will also improve trail handling. If all you ride is trails I would look at a wider front end. But if you ride in powder, I leave it alone! This is a two edged sword, the better you make it on the fast trails the worse it is in the powder.

    vector mountain skid shocks

I agree with TRXSTER the mtn vector skid is night and day better on the trail. For me it might be a little soft for hard hits, but it rides soooo smooth. Everyone wants to ride my sled on the trail up and down.

To much transfer on 05/06 skids?

On My Vector, I would like a little more transfer. For a Yamaha it has a lot of transfer, but compared to a Doo or a Cat, it does not. I do agree with Snow Fever, this is the best riding sled I have ridden. I you want less transfer the skid has alot of adjustment. The coolest thing is the...

    Dang papparazi are everywere!

Great shots! Did you break anything when the windshield came off? I have yet to roll mine right over. Can super close to rolling it down a steep one, just barly managed to stick it in the snow on a narrow shoot. Thought I had it stuck enough let off the gas and it started to roll...

    Vector Stuff

Carb Coolent is off checked and double checked. The hyfax is only a problem on icy hard packed. I think the closed window track and the weight of the sled make the problem worse. I hope I can find a scratcher that works as I like being the first one up the trail in the AM and the last one out...

    Vector Stuff

Clutching, For the high altitude you can drop a lot of weight from the primary clutch weights. 10.3 on the tips works perfect for 6000 to 8000 ft. I no longer smell belt every time I stop. Hifax, If you get up to go riding befor noon and the trail is hard you are going to have problems. Put...

05 vector mtn clutchig problems any advice?

What do you have in now. I just bought a set of primary weights with a 10.3 on the end of each the weight, and nothing on the inside that my dealer (EandS) said will pull 9000 RPM at 6000 to 7000 feet. I will check when I pull my stock ones out, but I am pulling 9000 RPM at 2200 feet. and 8000...

    Big Horns setup(vector)

I will vote for Turks reply. I have the red MTvector. I had it up at around 9000 ft with the stock clutching and it would only pull 8000 RPM. Next trip I will lighten up the clutching to get it to rev to 9000. I do not belive jetting for the one trip is nessisary.

First Trip on the Mountian Vector

Auskins, I find the vector turns and jumps as good as the 1m. It is heaver so on the bigger jumps you do notice it. This sled sidehills better than anything I have ridden. For the type of riding I do it is great!! Hi slymax, I saw your sled at Allen on Saturday. Unfortantly I got myself into...

    Jumping the RS

The only thing you can do is increase the spring tension on the front struts, or get stiffer front springs. I have mine tighten almost as much as I can and it works great. I do not like the front track shock and spring. I have that set on the hardest setting and it still bottems very easily...
