Thanks to Nytrozula for the battery! Wow what a difference! This was the easiest 10lbs to shave off of this sled. I was curious how the battery would hold up in cold weather so I put it in the sub zero freezer at -20 for a week then installed it on the sled. Sled started no problem even with...
Purchased March 2014
Little over 200 miles.
MPI is pretty shi*ty about following up and answering calls! Matt always seems to be "out to lunch". I've never met him but I'm guessing he's a big boy! Not a happy customer!
Loneida23...I'm supposed to send my whole sled to Utah to install a supercharger that is a bolt on kit. A kit they say "if you can install an exhaust you can install this kit". Give me a break! These shafts are crap! Warranty the damn things for gods sake. Many people save long and hard for...
No Brainer.....Turbo. The superchargers right now cannot be reliable. Read the posts on the boost side and you will see that the sc are having issues with the shafts and MPI cant seem to get them replaced in a timely manner.
Its the shaft that is failing...several posts on the site here in the turbo/sc forum. No suggestions from MPI at all but to sit tight and plan to ride stock this winter. The kit was installed by a dealer and can't imagine it was starved for oil. The oil level was ok and looked good. It seems...
My readings say nothing because the damn SC is broken after only about 500 miles. ******* shaft broke half way through a trip and cost me hundreds! these MPI superchargers are junk! I guess there are plenty of stories just like mine out there. I hope you guys have better luck than we did...
Most everything from SBM is expensive! Its probably a set of plastic washers for $50! A buddy of mine once bought a tuning kit for $35 that consisted of the standard nuts and bolts from Ace Hardware!
8 lbs or 12 lbs? Do you really think it will make a difference when riding in the tight twisted trails like you say you like to ride? Save your money and swallow your pride. You'll keep up with just about anyone you meet up with, with 8 or 12. Why worry about running higher octane fuel for...
F7? How much hp are you running? that is significantly less weight than Peppahillcustom. do the settings apply for both turbo or SC? So I assume you are running the 50g super tip weights as well?
I'm new to the SC scene and I'm trying to understand a little about how the pulleys work on the superchargers. For example the pulleys I have on my MPI kit are 28/28 and this produces x amount of psi. What pulley needs to be changed to lower boost so I can ride in lower elevation?
I'm going to be running a Push Turbo wit 210 hp next year on my Nytro. how much weight should I be adding to the 50g Super tip weights? anyone have a baseline I could start with?.
I am going to install a Push turbo-210hp to my Nytro this summer. I'm running Ulmers clutch kit. Anyone know what the setup is for this kit after I add the extra hp?
I noticed that a stud had pierced through the header this winter. It's not all the way through but did make a gash about 3 inches long. Is this a simple repair?
don't kill the messenger dude...I don't know why Pioneer would just come out and say that. He simply told me it looked like the shocks had already been serviced before because there were different parts in each shock(the wording may have been different but something like that). Not knowing...
What I am saying is I paid for a rebuild on both shocks and it appeared as if only one of the shocks had been rebuilt. One shock had the stock parts still while the other did not. I guess one of the shocks looked like it was still in good shape. I paid for both to be replaces regardless.
I had my shocks done by Schmidt bros then had tehm rebuilt a few years later by Pioneer. Pioneer told me that my shocks(that had been rebuilt by SBM) had different parts in them indicating that when they were rebuilt they didn't actually replace all the parts. Needless to day I was a little...
