I jsut installed an MPI supercharger on my Nytro. I'll be running 8 psi. What weights work well for trail riding? I was thinking about using the Apex 8FP or 8HG as well as the Supertips. Any thoughts?

Call or email ulmer on this. His setup works awesome with the mpi kit.

I'm going to be running a Push Turbo wit 210 hp next year on my Nytro. how much weight should I be adding to the 50g Super tip weights? anyone have a baseline I could start with?.

1 tungsten and 4 washers in the heel,1 washer in the mid, and two washers in the tip should give you a decent baseline to work from. I use a orange pink orange primary spring and white secondary wrapped at 6-1 with a ulmer k helix

Allen got my Nytro spot on the first time. Told him on the phone what I had for boost and Bam... Perfect setup. Did it all with an Ulmer Apex Kit I Had..

I had no luck with my supertips, way to hard to maintain rmp when you go on/off trail. If you loose rpm you loose your boost. If you have a turbo supertips is the way to go! With a turbo you have full boost pressure even at lower rpms.

This is my setup (10-13psi @ 8800):

Primary: blue - silver - blue
Secondary: white - white @ 80deg
8HG-00 loaded to about 100g

I would recommend a multi angle helix or a straight 43/45/47 depending on your riding preference.

Good Luck!

Will this setup work for a supercharger as well? How much weight is this?

I hear this about Allen quite often on this site... You can't beat that kind
Of reference for anything especially the complex options on clutching.
That's who I'm going to for my clutching needs.

I run 1 tungsten on each side in heel, 4 washers on each side in the middle, and 2 on each side at the tip. So about 76 grams on a push turbo mtx.

F7? How much hp are you running? that is significantly less weight than Peppahillcustom. do the settings apply for both turbo or SC? So I assume you are running the 50g super tip weights as well?

running 6-8lbs at 8800-9000 rpms with a 162" track and 50gr base weights. Its actually more weight than peppahillcustom.

Helix's and springs will greatly affect rpm's. I could run more heel and mid weight but working on transfer in my suspension before I final tweek my clutching

I have the yamaha low elevation SC kit that I am installing on my 13. It includes new arms and weights but does not indicate where to even start. Any ideas?

Also, are you SC guys gearing differently? My kit comes with a few different sprockets and a new chain. I think I will have to go up a tooth on the upper sprocket.
