    Have anyone tried the Yamaha shovel pack? The AC one uses cam locks to lock it in place, but on the picture, the Yamaha one uses the straps. Do the Yam one also use cam locks?

    I know have 450 km (280 miles) on my 16' Viper with MCX 190 turbo. I'm running at 6 psi pressure and it's working just fine. Sounds like the sleds that blew up, did it on low milage. Should i just keep on using it, or be carefull and replace the rods? In Norway we don't get warranty on boosted...

    I don't know who makes them, but they are made in sweden, and McX sels them. My local dealer will change them for me. Havent got a price just fore the work... But the rods are about 350$.

    Jess. The norwegian Yamaha importer does not offer a warranty on boosted sleds, so we have to pay fore everything ourselves. For me, it will cost 1120 $ for new rods, and the work to put them in...

    In Norway we have to purchase new steel rods for our 2016 Vipers with turbo. MCX are delivering these, and the local Yamaha dealer are putting them in. Can't wait to get the sled up and running with new rods so i can test it properly with some boost!
