I actually didn't need to change my plugs, I just ordered CR10EK plugs from Ulmer when I got a few other things from him. Only ordered them because I heard they give you a few more Hp, and just trying them for curiosity sake!
Still got the other ones for back up!
Thanks for the help Arteeex.
FJR, after I installed the plugs I looked to see if I could fit my hand between the tank and where the plugs are...not a chance. Especially where you have to push down on those boots pretty hard to make sure they sit tightly on top of the plugs.
So for me I will...
Just doing some mods right now that I didn't get to last yr!
Put a Water temp gauge, tether cord .... anyways I have a new set of spark plugs that I ordered and never got to it last yr. Now that I have my gas tank off I wanted to put them in. But I came to a stumbling block and don't want to...
Dakine Pro II all the way. Took me a long time to find a good backpack and stumbled on this one. Had it for 3 seasons and does everything I need it to do. Bit on the $$ side but well worth it, don't even feel it on my back! I bring a lot of stuff with me on trip and I still have room left...
I would pay to see a person pull over and start a 4 stroke!!!
On another note, I think going for a 09' would be a better purchase. It doesn't seem ppl have 1/2 the problems in that model than the 08'
Very Much soooo.
I came off a rev and I found that comfortable. But this sled has a way better riders position (sitting or standing).
I am over 6' tall if that helps you any!
I do stand 75% of the time, but either way for me it is GOOD!
Handles bumps like it is nobodies business and the sled...
Correct me if I am wrong!!
I thought the idea behind the approach angle on the XTX so it could handle like a RTX, but being long track. Also give the benefit of going into powder. I think those guys are seeing more top speed is a) more surface area on the snow, and b) the weight of the track is...
There use to be spray at canadian tire for snowblower chutes, that would decrease snow build-up, but cant find it now. I was thinking of using furniture polish spray this weekend, let you know the results!!
I thought the same thing about the wear mark. But when I took it in for service, that wear mark isn't a good indication, cause it wore right through and started eating away my rails. Best thing to do is put a set of idler wheels on that bend and you shouldn't ever have a problem again!!
Well got the sled back today from the dealer, and it was a wire chaffed behind the clutch that was causing all the grief! Took it for a 50km ride today and the problem is gone, no more codes and no more dropping rpm when i try to open it up!!!!
Out riding the weekend and about 15-20 min into the ride my sled dropped the rpm and picked up again. On low speed (around 40kmh) was fine but as soon as I tried to open it up again it would drop rpm, with the same codes coming up. Sometimes it would even shut down It got so bad by the time I...
I dont have a solution for you but I do have an idea.
There is a lot of smart guys on here that can tell you the in and outs of this sled and wont hesitate to help! But w/o a full explanation of what your experiencing and using proper english, and not "blubbery" or "fresh hightest still not...
Check out NLVMAX thread in the 4Stroke Garage. It is really detailed, and you shouldn't have any problem after reading that! I will try and find the thread for you!

I dont have experience with the nytro grips yet but with the bombardier I used a hair dryer to warm the grips a bit and some hair spray for lub and when the hair spary dried it is sticky so better grip underneath...
A great saying I heard before:
"hP is what you read, Torque is what you feel"
but to put this all to rest, here is the simplest way to put this and get back to.....well what ever we do:
hP is how fast you hit a brick wall
Torque is how hard you hit a brick wall
