dude, sorry this is no help butn i had the same prob in valemount last weekend too, (same sled). been pickin my brain, and no answers. dont want to stick the filter outside the hoods, but heavy snow clogs all vents. if you ffigure it out, let me know

i'm not sure what was going on, but the last time i used it in the mountains, i shut the sled off and it wouldnt start again, so i towed it down and had to rent a sled. ended up unplugging the rb3 box at home and it fired up. tried with my buddies software to see what was going on, and couldnt...

not trying to bash anyones product, but myself and my buddy took our rb3's off after several failed programs and the actual rb3 box failing meaning a tow down the mountain. after a couple ruined mountain trips i decided no more of that stuff. mines for sale if anyone wants to try make it work...

hey guys, i was just wondering what the compression ratio would be on a nytro with the head shim from powderlites? i cant remember how thick the shim is either. thanks

my sled's a nytro and the IAC is the bigger line that comes somewhere underneath the intercooler from the throttle bodies. not sure if the apex has this too but it should be run into the intercooler too. i used 1/2 inch heater hose and welded a fitting onto intercooler.

i've been told by mpi and powderlites that the airbox sensor should be in the intercooler as well as the IAC.

plugged my old programmer back in and sled fired up, so it was defianately the rb3. also tried to plug the rb3 into the laptop and it wont even read the rb3 anymore, so i'ts going back to dave for him to look at. sled worked fine last year, hasn't worked since the rb3 install this year...

dave has sent me 3 programs, none of which were even close. i got one which had the rev limiter set correctly, however the sled was so rich it would hardly run. getting pretty frustrated with this rb3

i have got code 12 coming up but the engine still turns over, just wont fire. could this be the relay or is it the actual crank sensor? i wont get a chance for a day or two to look at the relay. anyone know how hard to chage the crank sensor? thanks

nytro stage 2 mpi s/c, powderlites injectors (420 cc i think), 3 bar sensor. anyways i bought the rb3 from powderlites with program installed. sled hit rev limiter at about 8600 and ran like garbage, so phoned dave, he emailed me another map, jus took it for a rip and it seems to run a bit...

thanks guys, but still a little confused. i got a hold of darren at mpi and he told me the map sensor is plumbed directly into the intercooler. so is it the intercooler or the line in between the throttle body and engine? thanks again

innovative is a whole mess of wires, AEM is very simple to wire. had a couple sensors go on the AEM, but i'm told it's cause of the race fuel. don't know about the NGK, but i'd stick with AEM again.
