hey i'm going to be installing a prologger on my stage 2 mpi nytro. just wondering where the map sensor installs (intercooler or the line on the rear of the throttle bodies). also wondering about the boost solenoid (the black one with three fittings on it). there is one fitting on this that has a little filter, does it install in the middle (hole 2)? also where does this solenoid hook into. i am also installing an rb3 which the sensor will be joined in near the throttle bodies. can all three of these things hook into the same line?? tried at service at mpi, but no answer and no response to my message. any help would be much appreciated. thanks guys.

You connect the map sensor from a line between the engine and throttle bodies. You can also connect other pressure sensors to this line. As far as the boost solenoid plumbing, it is different for an internal gate than it is for an external as is the settings for the Prologger. You really need to configure it exactly like the manual says. This has worked well for me on a 2 stroke turbo.

Genesmob gave you the correct info. We are open today till 5 and all next week if you have any questions

thank you

thanks guys, but still a little confused. i got a hold of darren at mpi and he told me the map sensor is plumbed directly into the intercooler. so is it the intercooler or the line in between the throttle body and engine? thanks again

Either way it doesnt matter were just using the map sensor for boost reading,

So if its after throttle bodies then u will see vacume at idle and if it is before u will see a small amount of boost at idle but wide open throttle you will see the same.
