so after reading these posts i'm still wondering which pulleys are needed for max boost on stage 2. im putting the pro logger on this fall, so i would like to put on the max pulleys and go down from there depending on my situation (mountains or flatland).
well ended up getting the prologger from you guys at mpi. you wouldn't happen to have some better wiring instructions to hook it up on the nytro, would you? i'm not the best guy at wiring as it is, but it looks a little complicated at first glance. also was wondering what pulleys i need to run...
i'm curious about the pro logger too. was either gonna go rb3 or this setup. sure would be nice to adjust boost. does anyone know how well the prologger works with bigger injectors?
tried the straight and dual angle shockwaves, found they dont backshift as well or maintain their rpm nearly as good as a yammy helix. tried many different combos with the shockwave, none worked very well. couldnt get it to work on flatland or mountains. buddy has the same sled, ended up...
hey nytroman, i already tried getting some info, but i know the answer to your question. as far as the rest goes, i dont think anyone else cares so pm me if you want some useful answers to your questions. ty.
hey bleedinblue, i live just outside saskatoon and i have a buddy who went to the rb3 on his sled. i'll get a chance to ride it the 25th in bc and i'm going to decide whether or not i'm going the same way too. i've got the GEMS and actually have a spare one too if oyu know anyone looking for one...
had one go on a s/c'd sled. couldn't find anyone that had one in stock, co i made one using the stock ends and a piece of steel flex pipe. worked for a couple days, then the stock one came in so i changed it. never heard anything about aftermarket ones.
trid a few different yamaha weights, cant remember which ones anymore. also tried a bunch of different sec. setups too. could get it to pull good on hard, but lose too much rpm in the soft. couldnt get it right with any setup. guess i'll keep trying, thanks skydog.
i guess if your only at 800 feet, it makes sense you're hitting 14 psi. im abou 12 at 6000 feet with the 22/31 setup. runnning about 8800 rpm with my clutching. what a re you using for clutching around your area? i tried a bunch and couldnt get anything to work well here (1800 feet). i tried...
i'm running 21/31and that gives me about 12 psi at about 6000 feet. not really sure what that gives me here (1800 feet). i've been running about 25% c12 75% 92 octane, just to be safe. what's recoimended with 14 psi? thanks skydog.
really skydog? have you run them for a while? the guy at mpi that the stage 1 s/c is only good to 12 and could be damaged if running more than that. do you remember how many teeth they are?
hey was just wondering what would all be involved in going from stage 1 to 2. i've got the stage 1, GEMS, cold air intake, and thats about it on already. if i go to stage 2, what cost and parts would be involved? just the s/c and the fuel pump upgrade or is there anything else. i ride abot...
i'm not trying to make your choice for you, but i've ridden both (i own a s/c) and they both have their ups and downs. turbo=more power and lag, s/c less power and no lag. i personally am a two stroke guy and love the s/c cause it suits my riding style. its best to ride both and make your...
