hey was just wondering what would all be involved in going from stage 1 to 2. i've got the stage 1, GEMS, cold air intake, and thats about it on already. if i go to stage 2, what cost and parts would be involved? just the s/c and the fuel pump upgrade or is there anything else. i ride abot 1800 feet and the mountains (6000) about 6 times a year. just wondering how much this would cost. thanks.

i know for the apex the stage 2 has a bigger intercooler also and gears are different, belts, bigger charger...I think you would be better off selling your stage one and getting the stage 2. It will be easier to sell a complete kit than selling the leftovers you have after the upgrade. :dunno:

The blower and drive unit is different, pulleys and belt, intercooler are also different. Stage 2 we also recomend a bypass valve and fuel pump

ok thanks, almost sounds easier to sell mine and buy a complete new kit. thanks for the info

i've been running 12 cause i was told thats the max for that s/c.if i could run 14, that would be cool if all i had to do was change pulleys and go.

really skydog? have you run them for a while? the guy at mpi that the stage 1 s/c is only good to 12 and could be damaged if running more than that. do you remember how many teeth they are?

I can check for you.(teeth) Man i forget who i talk to but i was told 14 is fine with good gas??

Skydog P.S. What teeth is the 12psi pulleys?

i'm running 21/31and that gives me about 12 psi at about 6000 feet. not really sure what that gives me here (1800 feet). i've been running about 25% c12 75% 92 octane, just to be safe. what's recoimended with 14 psi? thanks skydog.

sory skydog, i just double checked and i have a 22 on top, not 21. thanks.

really! i only hit 11 psi with that setup and 12 psi with 22/31 at 6000 feet. what elevation are you running 14 psi witht hat setup? thanks
