There is a filter in the tank on the end of the pump, but the micron rating isn't fine enough to keep debris that clogs an injector out. Great job @Turboflash
I have thicker head gaskets on hand if you need to. I wouldn't worry about up to .010" or so machined off and you should still be fine, just run premium if you can.
The Hurricane kit will work fine for boosting fuel for higher horsepower. The PEFI kit works great and keeps the fuel pump basket full of fuel at all times.
Hear me out, I'm not trying to be the devil's advocate, but turn the clutch clockwise with the valve cover removed to see if you can get slack in the chain again and then slide it back 1 tooth if that's what you think it's off, it's possible to be done, just take your time (at this point what do...
The cam chain would have to be extremely stretched or the tensioner fail for that to happen. The tensioner is oil pressure activated, so the likely hook of it jumping while running is pretty rare (unless you over revved the engine and had valve float, but even then rare).
I have resealed tanks with Travis's BOP gasket. I've also used Right Stuff. When I do Right Stuff, I meticulously clean the surfaces using brake clean and a scotch brite pad to "rough" the surface up lightly. After applying Right Stuff and screwing the tank down snuggly, I turn a space heater...
Is it possible that the map you're trying to load has a fuel & ignition tables in it, but you only have a Power Commander and no Ignition Module?
If so, simply load the map, when it gets to 50% and locks, hit the "Get Map" button and see if it pulls the map up.
Put your coolant pressure tester on the system at 20 psi. Put your leak down cylinder on each cylinder, but make sure it is pressurizing with 100 psi minimum into cylinder, if it is a head gasket it will likely make the coolant system pressure go up if you use the leak down tester to pressurize...
I don't want to answer for @rxrider but I believe they use their MCX box that controls 3 additional injectors. I am hoping to do their Stage 3 kit on a Sidewinder and Thundercat this summer (larger turbo & intercooler to drop charge air temps).
