I have a 2011 Apex damaged the oil tank today. Will a 2005 Vector tank fit??? Have to look at used as they are out of stock. Part number is almost the same:
Apex: 8FG-21751-02
Vestor: 8FG-21751-01
Many thanks!!!
Thanks, I’ve purchased a few things from Travis - always great. Unfortunately given shipping, duty, exchange and huge shipping delays we are currently seeing I’m looking for a more local Cdn solution.
Happy New Year folks!! I have a 2011 Apex XTX - got 25,000kms on it, been fantastic. Need to replace the front shocks - they are NOT rebuildable. Not looking to spend a lot of $$ so was hoping for a used set - but struggling with size. Anyone know if some of the rebuildable shocks off of the...
Anyone know where I can find replacement bulbs for my Sledstart headlights - or at least the model number for same?? Its been about 12 yrs and 20,000kms and one of them seems to be going - they are a great update for any Apex/Nytro. I can't seem to find Sledstart's website (I know he was a TY...
Had the issue 3 times - went with the Polaris model - before I heard about the BOP unit. So with that my Sidewinder has parts from all 4 OEM's (BRP saddle bags).
3 of the 4 others SWs I travel with had the same problem. PQ was the big issue for us - travelling fast in the snow dust then a - 25C...
I heard the 2020's were coming with new relays for the problematic relays that tend to freeze (fuel pump, reverse, headlight and I think one other). Anyone able to confirm this?? Is the a new part number that those with older Sidewinders can use to upgrade ours??
Got 10,000kms on my 2017 Sidewinder. I have not replaced or tired to grease the front drive axle bearing. For those who, given what you saw, what’s the right replacement mtce interval???
I have a 2017 LTX-LE with 10,000kms, I added the extra two outer wheels on the rear drive axle when I got it but I’m not thinking after 10,oookms I should be replacing/updating that triaxle. Any thoughts on how long these triaxles last? If updating I understand the 2019’s came with a new rear...
Travis sent me his Japan throttle lever a few months ago - just getting around to installing it. I know its supposed to be plug and play but I'm having problems figuring out how to install it. Any help, any pics??
I'm having two problems: (1) cant figure out where it plug into the wire...
Don’t believer there is. You can see trail status listed by Region but it doesn’t show up on a map. So if you don’t know where all the areas are geographically its hard to tell how far away open trails might be from your location. Definitely would be an improvement
Got my BOP "true" Yamaha thumb warmer in the mail today - looks good. Wires seem a bit shorter than I expected but I'm sure they will fit. Good workmanship - admit, its not complicated but its all nice a neat with appropriate wire protection.
got the stock muffler 240 flash (upgraded from the 225 I got last year) plus helix, secondary spring and new weights - all from Dave as well. with all that and trail passes purchased, just need some snow!!
noticed that only two of the three of the rollers on the secondary touched the helix - thought they would have got that right. we can't blame that on Arctic!!
Was told yesterday at the Toronto show by Yamaha that new throttle lever would not work on 17 and 18 SW. The new thumb warmer is designed for the new multi stage switch and the 17 and 18 don't have that switch - just high and low.
I also went with BOP a few wks ago - still waiting for it to...
