Lynx in 4 stroke version is not available in North America for '22. There are only 2 lynx models for N. Amer in '22, both are 2 stroke. One is Rave RE trail sled and other is a Mountain sled.
I do have a feeling, for 2023 we may see the lynx 900r turbo brought to N. Amer..., once the Mach is...
There is no 900tr.....just a 900r or 900t ect...just to be easier for guys to not get mixed up....lol
I understand your view completely....let me explain mine.
Many guys actually want one because it is a 1yr only. This will become a very special sled going forward most guys think, and IMO BRP...
I hope Cat has done their homework on clutches.
I certainly wont be the one to buy a first yr clutch system from cat with 200hp going thru them...
Maybe after a few seasons they will be proven? But that will need to be proven to most 998 guys first.
Wonder if it rattles???
Dan...
Yeah I agree my 2012 procross was a real pile of junk, lol. My 18 Winder was really nice in comparison, and the shocks were really good then. I wish the SRX was avail with those qs3r still.
I like the chassie, its warm and ergos feel great to me. Front end works wonderful. I would like to see...
I agree Joe....
How many yrs did I spend in front of my cottage on my lake shoreline with my stalker radar gun, way before GPS was even invented..lol. Good ole days.
Now we ride big miles, every ride. Be it locally Muskoka on busy, tight/twisty trails that get pounded by afternoon. And now we...
2 buds of mine will be riding the Lynx at The Cove. Dano already rode one over at Northland but they only allowed the demo to stay on lake, Dano wants to get the Lynx on a typical Muskoka trail for sure.
We feel it will be slower then our XRS setups through our tight trail system when riding...
Darting has alot to do with conditions as we all know. Lynx comes with an aggressive keel ski. They remind me of a C&A alot. Very positive turning sled for sure. We like this type of ski when riding our local very tight trails, to be able to remain too the right on left handed corners, while...
Good points...me and the guys I run with often have the same sleds. But we actually like things more on seasons where we all own something different. Nothing better then swapping rides on same trails/same day...only way to know if you ever would want one. Heck that was why I bought a 850...
I went, the snow was melting fast here friday and dealer said it was too green(grass) to let me demo it. GRRR. I spent an hour tearing into it in the shop. Really a cool sled. Shocks are killer. Buddy rode it up north and got a good review, that is a cool sled if you like uncoupled skid that...
Good info here...Most the turbo crowd is savvy here and knows what we should expect.
Im leaning toward ordering a Mach. As you guys know Im all about a new sled every couple seasons and try them all.
I believe the SRX stock for stock will still beat the MACH on top end. Moreso on ICE. Yamaha...
