I hope Cat has done their homework on clutches.
I certainly wont be the one to buy a first yr clutch system from cat with 200hp going thru them...
Maybe after a few seasons they will be proven? But that will need to be proven to most 998 guys first.
Wonder if it rattles???

The new clutch system is referred to as the “ADAPT CVT system.” The main difference is in the primary clutch, which is more compact – both lighter and narrower.
“This is really an evolution of the CVT system,” explained Brian Dick, Cat’s director of product development. “It’s fully designed, engineered and tooled by Arctic Cat. It’s a lightweight clutch shaving more than a pound of weight from the current design, which results in less inertia, quicker revving and better throttle response.”
The design carries over many design features from the previous TEAM Industry clutches, including maintaining constant belt tension thanks to a roller bearing in the primary. The secondary clutch is also a new Arctic Cat design, though it is quite similar to the clutch it replaces. The new clutch will be on all of Cat’s 6000-, 8000- and 9000-series engines.

What a great launch for Cat, 60 years, they out did themselves, can't wait for Yamaha's launch, we will be blown away, should be exciting.

EPS and BNG....I guess at least the Winders will look better!What a great launch for Cat, 60 years, they out did themselves, can't wait for Yamaha's launch, we will be blown away, should be exciting.

I'm pretty sure that Yamaha won't offer these options on their flagship model SRX.
My guess is the EPS with the IQS shocks only will be on the SRX.
Too bad because everyone doesn't want/need the high zoot technology on their sleds.

That's a tough call though because the SRX is the lake racer so one would hope they would keep the weight off it.... unless of course they are upping the power from factory.Here you go...
