As all of you know, I like to ride my sled and race it also.
This sled was crate loaded in the back of my truck in Minnesota, brought home and was doing clutch testing right away in October of 2016.
From then, it went to EVO Powersports to get a flash, exhaust and boost gauge. Ran EVO's tunes...
Running your sled at 10,100 is not as different as you would think.
I ran my Apex at 10,300 motor and 11,000 on the button. The sled was just as fast at 10,300 as it was at 10,700 off of the bottle.
Yamaha needs to update the dash to the modern 7 inch screen so we can have GPS, all different engine gauges showing instead of toggling thru a button. Just like Johnny Skeptical told Ernie....Time to Upgrade!
The kit will work ok, but think I can tell you to change your helix as you are running the mountain helix yet. Put a 43° straight helix on and you will be off of the rev limiter.
Another update....12/16/20 Lake effect snow coming down now and can say a good 8 inches fell this morning so far. Hopefully the snowmobile club opens the trails and starts panning.
Eastern part of UP got 3 to 4 inches and the ground has a good start of frost. If it doesn't get warm and snows more....we are looking at a good start. Everything is white though!

I know the owner of this sled personally, race with him every race and have even raced this sled in Pro Mod/Pro Outlaw. Know the engine builder and have seen the pics and videos of the dyno runs. This engine is fully modded with larger turbo.
