yes...I should quantify....if you have the coupled skid ...stud....if you have a uncoupled skid and big lug track and dont hammer corner to corner you COULD enjoy no studs....especially if you spend a good deal of time off trail or if you have great conditions...HOWEVER if you are ever hot into...
I pounded the crap out mine...what I can say is blue locktite and tighten fully....the whole assembly needs to be squeezed together with enough force...cant say the torque spec but pretty sure it was about bottomed out...
unless you are a mountain rider...if you ride a high performance sled...and then in addition are tuning it up....makes no sense producing more power when you cant connect with the terrain.. that would be like a corvette with skinny tires...whats the point...and Ive seen many top notch riders...
gas tank is supposed to hold vapor...yes...the quickest and easiest first step is to swap the elbows....or you can drill the stock one out....ask me for procedure....you'll know pretty much right away
Hey Pete...I recommend you get ins studs from Bruce... They are less someone to a pull out since they can be tightened more for better track capture... Run an oversized aluminum backer...
