Wanted to start a dedicated thread just for this kit. Stock springs are too stiff for many lighter riders, so I've developed a kit to drop the adjuster blocks down and reduce preload. Kit is easy to install, and does not require removal of skid or springs.
We put 500 trail miles on the kit last week and it worked well. My buddy weighs 140, and we had it on his 14 viper ltx. In stock trim his viper had no sit in with him on the sled.
I had it on my winder ltx dx and it was too soft for me at 210, so I'm thinking it will be ideal for those 190 and under. I may discount a few kits to some riders at various weights in exchange for some feed back.
Have not finalized pricing yet but thinking around $90. Will include everything as shown in pictures below. Kit will fit 129 and 137 skids.

I' be happy to test. I weigh 170 and must revalve shock on every sled I buy as they are always too stiff.

I'm 195 and find any thing other then the lowest setting to stiff so basically I have no adjustment now. I think this would be a nice way to get some. I would like to have a little more sit in.

This is great idea, I think yami has overkill on their springs, I am 220 on my ltx se with the QS3R's all around and I can only run torsion on #1, still only 2" sag when I sit on it, no natural sag with no rider on it.

Shock package and valving will definitely yield different results. My ltx dx has a quite soft rear shock so to resist harsh bottoming i have to use the stock location despite not getting enough sit in. May have to have cannondale27 work some magic on on my shocks!
a must for light guys who are on the LE

I found my suspension loosened up by 1000 miles where I now needed torsion 2 when saddle bagging. Still no transfer tho.

This product will be available for purchase this fall. Had great results on our test sled last season. This is an easy and affordable option for light weight riders. Retail price will be $90 and i will be adding it to the store soon.
where on earth would a great idea like this come from?? ![Wink ;) ;)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)

Any more info on this, just curious if anyone was able to test this out? Have been thinking about maybe trying this as I am 175 pounds in street clothes.

Do you notice a difference when sitting on the sled that you have some sag?
