    XS 825 shakedown

Really like the way my sled runs with the Powertrail Sm, stock weights ,xs belt ,35/39 helix, Orange TP secondary @40 and Orange TP primary. Super smooth 2700 engagement, good backshift , 8900 shift. Ran up to 124 on the speedo on the lake this past weekend. Nice clean clutches with no black...

    Hurricane bundle tune

If you need over 120 in good conditions then go for the 22. The 21 is probably better for trail riding and the belt. I left the 21 in my sled. On Powertrail no other brand sled is even in the same zip code for more than 300 ft. Can’t wait to load ms16 but unfortunately rain again. What a shitty...

    Updated heated ROV kit

Probably a good idea. I bet that oily water will eventually work it’s way to the drive belt below the air box/filter.

torsion vs compression and helix angles

I like it. Very smooth with a little more upshift while trail riding. Backshift is good. The higher finish angle keeps the Powertrail tune rpms in check with the stock weights and the xs belt.

    Gauge problems

Yes I have the flasher. I will call TD and get an answer. Thanks.

torsion vs compression and helix angles

Lots of variables in rpms indeed. I went from a straight stock 35 to a 35/39 dalton and my rpms dropped right around 200 rpms at higher speeds where it was into the 39 angle. Nothing else was changed. In my case it was about 100rpm per 2degree change. They say the dalton angles measure the same...

    Gauge problems

The tune changes the hour meter by making it a boost gauge. I wonder if this is done through the gauge or the Ecu?

    Gauge problems

My gauge is very slow reacting and is giving me problems especially when cold When I switch over to the large RPMs on the left side it almost looks like double numbers. My sled is now tuned via flasher but no cluster flash. If my dealer replaces the gauge do I need a new tune from TD or is it...

Ultimax is inconsistent on team clutches

Stock SRX spring is the Apex pink spring. The Yellow was used in pre 2019 Winders. The pink spring is quite a bit weaker in torsion and compression than the yellow.

Ultimax is inconsistent on team clutches

Originally TP recommended 60 but they changed it to 50 due to heat buildup. I run it at 40 with a 35/39. 90 is crazy stiff. You sure you guys aren’t talking about the dalton orange spring?

Ultimax is inconsistent on team clutches

Holy #*$&@ 6/3 on that spring? I run it at 3/1 and still get good backshift. You must have super human strength to wrap it that high.

Ultimax is inconsistent on team clutches

This belt grips so well I can move the sled easily at engagement with the parking brake on which I did the other day by mistake. Almost didn’t notice it. With the JP you notice the brake right away. No movement.

Ultimax is inconsistent on team clutches

Yes just a Dalton. Also I use the pre SRX weighting in the flyweights which has more weight in the tip than the update.

    Any Updated Relays Yet????

Yamaha does have updated relays now. My dealer said they are on backorder of course and he said they are solid state.

Ultimax is inconsistent on team clutches

Stock weights loaded up to 17 specs but a 35/39 rear dalton helix as opposed to the stock 35 helix. TPI rollers front and rear. TPI orange primary spring. I think it is about 35/135 . Nice low 2700 engagement. Orange TPI secondary spring which is wrapped at 40. Not too stiff at a lower wrap.
