Ice Scratchers For Nytro - Skid Rail Mounted - HELP

I have the slidekicks, but the problem I have is that I can't keep the bolt tight. This has been a problem because the company has since changed the design. I am currently testing a new product by the same company that it think is called "Ski Z's". It mounts behind your carbides and deflects...

No clue. Both tracks were installed before I purchased the sleds.

    Need More Traction !!!!

I have a 1.5" on my Phazer and 1.75" on my Nytro. I love them and would not change a thing.

First real ride with the ZX2

The skid was installed with the regular instructions, not the universal kit. There is some question as to the SE tunnel vs. the standard tunnel that I have yet to confirm, but it is in and working well. The sled had the 1.75" BC track on it when I bought it with 62 miles with different...

First real ride with the ZX2

I had a ZX2 installed in my Nytro and Phazer. Put a total of 85 miles on yesterday. Very happy with both sleds. I know these are brand new and need to be broken in, but my only complaint was that they were very stiff. I will try to soften them up. Rode the stutters and even though I will...

    I am ready!

They are MTX skis with sno-trackers. I ran these last year and was very happy with this setup.

    I am ready!

We finally have some snow and I got out on the new ride. Everything looked and performed as expected. I did not do any high speed trails, just out with the kids, but so far so good.

    Stock hand guards

They suck! Mine has done the same thing. I went with Power Madd for all three sleds and they work great. Much more heavy duty.

AD Boivin ZX2 Durability & Performance Log

Of my experience with the skids from AD Boivin, I always revalved the shocks for rebound. They told me to ride it this year because it was new, but I am sure I will be sending them back for this. Other than that, it is a great skid out of the box. Any conclusions on your steering issues? I...

    Can't get traction

Rode 25 miles today with kids on groomed trails. The sled is setup very well. I would almost like to have more ski pressure, but it is way to early to start tinkering.

    Quarter turn

Great information. It only list units to 2008. I am wondering if it will fit later models as well. I guess I can cross reference the part number at the stealer when they open today.

    Can't get traction

Just came in from riding some groomed trails. My sled steers fine and is very predictable. I am very happy so far. I will get out on some big time trails Wednesday and will report back.

    Can't get traction

I just got in from riding. We have about a 1' of powder and heavy traveled fields in my neighborhood. Although I could not get up to speed, the steering was very light and handled fine, as expected. Under a half throttle rip, the skis slightly lift off of the ground and away she goes. I...

    Can't get traction

Earth to MD, come in! Where are you? I am hours away from riding and would like to get an update on your sled.

Any update on this. I am going out Monday with my new zx2 and wanted to know if you made any progress,

    Ready to jump ship

My biggest complain in Yamaha sleds is rebound. This will pobably require a revolved which is cheap once you get the shock out. Don't give up. I love this sled, I own two.

    Can't get traction

There are 4 or 5 adjustments "holes" that you can make on the ZX2.

    Can't get traction

I run a 1.75" without studs, with my 2 Nytros and have never had a problem with hook-up. It sounds like a combination of things, but I would try to get better transfer. Also, I run MTX skis with Sno-Trackers and really like the setup. I just installed the ZX2 in one of my Nytros and have not...

    HID's Flickering?

I purchased these from DDDM Tuning. The company said I would need to buy a their special wiring harness for $15.00 and that should take care of the problem. I am wondering if it has something to do with the gauge of the wire.

    HID's Flickering?

Has anyone who installed HID's on their Phazer have any issues with flickering? If so, how did you resolve it?
