If it moves the eccentric even 2 mm" x it by the distance over to the Secondary. Its alot at the other end. Aftermarket will offer a spring loaded tensioner. Problem solved. Probably will need 2 since engine reverse will require the second one. Weight/Cost saving will be gone for sure.
This is what I came up with and is what Polaris uses. Fusor is a less expensive version same thing. I like McMaster Carr and worth it to go with known products too me. The Tunnel Tail rivets will be a very good test and l really am sick of it. So.
Wow I never had any of those Huck rivets come loose. All the rest have. I would suggest tracing the mount on tunnel then removing any powdercoating left on both the bracket and tunnel. I thought they had those mounts on before coating but maybe not after seeing my buddies Alpha. I wonder if some...
Its fine! Thats what happens when you ride your sled. Its just a machine. The fun I had with Farmer and I bet others will say same. Priceless. Get'er done Tom!
Oh crap slap me into reality! You are right of course. I am always preaching about the shaft parallel being so important on our Procrosses for Upper gear bushing wear too! And of course belts. Thanks for reality check. Just got a bit excited over possibilities. They did improve the bulkhead to...
Man that does look so easy though! I wonder if they would make a reverse system for a 4st that was like a Goldwing and could use the starter? Sure like the Belt drive.
Those louvers and the hole in Vipers are a very stupid design. I get it they are worried about the heat but so much strength is lost. Put heat barrier tape under tank and close that crap off. Use bolts in the front for strength.
Fit O-rings one on each side compressed a bit. Thats all you can do. I like the rubber flexible bushing from a Firecat. They seal dirt out and so does the Orings. Once dirt get into there it may as well be sandpaper.
I saw those too. Those or Superclamps I would never go back to cranking them down. At end of day it is so nice to just flip the lever. My Superclamps give me joy every weekend and would never go back to cranks.
