Got some summer mods that I’m hoping to do this year, including 21/41 gearing and bop power steering. But also looking to do something thing with the hood and body panels (paint) due to factory decals not sticking and peeling. Has anyone painted there plastics with success ? My thought was to...
From what I’ve been reading is that you are coming out of the hole with a little less spin and use the torque of the engine. Possible better holeshot and better top end
Thanks for answering my question. Just got to decide if that’s the route I’m gonna take. I have an ltx and from what I’ve been reading it sounds like a win win
I think a phazer motor in the procross chassis for $9-10,000 would be a seller. that's only a $1000 over the cheap skidoo sled. my wife would have one if they came out with that. You don't get much anymore for $10k
Steiner, good to hear you are ok. I have been wearing a tekvest for a good 12 years now and feel naked without it. None of my riding posse, including my wife wears them. I’m hoping after she see’s this she will change her mind. They are cumbersome at first, but once you get used to it you won’t...
I kept reading that you could get the gears and chain for under $200. bd extreme has them but they are for an arctic cat 2 stroke, not sure those will work.
Where is everyone getting this set up from ? been reading how cheap it is to replace these gears and chain, and don't know where people are getting these from
I have curve skis with 6” slim jims and they push a little bit steering is light. Had bergstrom triples before this and they were heavy steering but turned very well. I ride fairly aggressive
Did the Dane cty loop yesterday with 11 others to a total of 207 miles. Was a bit cold and took us all day with having to cross a lot of busy highways and getting 12 across them, but had fun on a day off of work. Feels great to be able to ride out from your front door.
Agree with mr. sled, the ice storm is an awesome track. This track hooks up hard on hard pack and still really well in loose snow. My only issue is it hard to get the back to slide sideways even with the 1 1/4 outer lugs, but the trade off is worth it
Mine only goes over 200 if I’m stopped for a few minutes otherwise fluctuates between 165 to 185. But also have redline water wetter in my cooling system
How are you wearing this helmet with glasses when the nose guard comes down close to your eyes and on your nose? I want my wife to get this helmet but I don’t think she will be able to close the shield with glasses on
