Did 2014 models have 2 different cowlings that required different windshields? I have a windshield that won't fit my viper. I have seen shields online that fit 2014-2018 and similar shields listed for 2014 only. I'm taking my whole cowling into the dealer that ordered the shield tomorrow to prove to them this one doesn't fit.

What's the issue? Mounting holes not lining up handle bars hitting the windshield?
2 st sleds and many cat windshield are different holes two at front tell tale.

Newer shield with part # starting with k. The "arms" that come down to the front look like they don't belong. I couldn't figure out what they attach to, realized previous owner broke off tabs changing shield. Dealer is taking it back and I'm ordering the older shield that starts with #sma. It mounts in the holes further back.

I put a cat windshield on mine, just have to drill a hole on each side for wing or back bottom of windshield to attach

The green tape shows the difference between the old style which I have mounted now as nd the new style I returned. The new style attaches that much lower and forward. It looked oddd to me, the way it covered the clear plastic from the headlight.
